Goldtrail ceased trading today

I booked accommodation with Travel Republic for our Corfu holiday in April and in all the gumf, it  stated who the company was who provided the accommodation to Travel Republic and I was able to research that company before we went.  I would have expected the same information to have been provided if you had booked flights also.   Yes, it was buried in the small print, but the terms and conditions clearly stated that the services were being provided by another company and who it was.   We take a risk with anything to do with holidays it seems.  All my checking didn't stop me from being stuck in Corfu for an additional 8 days due to the ash cloud in April!
